This is an exciting opportunity for someone to further their knowledge of the publishing landscape and to contribute to the growth and curation of the Web of Science.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsEducated to a degree level within a STEM subject.Highly customer-focused, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail, critical appraisal skills, and proven ability to take ownership of decisions.Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills to consistently meet deadlines.Proactive in proposing solutions to problems.Able to work both as part of a team and under own initiative.What will you be doing in this role?Evaluate journals in line with the Web of Science Editorial Triage criteria to determine whether a full editorial evaluation is merited.Closely liaise with the Web of Science Editors to facilitate a seamless journal evaluation process.Investigate, resolve, and reply to queries from journal editors and publishers regarding coverage and selection criteria.Own coverage-related decisions and ensure these are clearly communicated to journal editors and publishers according to defined KPIs.Collaborate with the Web of Science editorial team to ensure efficiency and consistency of decision-making.Contribute towards the maintenance and curation of dynamic collections of scholarly journals for indexing in the Web of Science Core Collection.Actively participate in team discussions about policy, process, and workflows.Keep up with developments in the publishing industry that could influence Web of Science editorial processes.
