Lead Performance Engineer (JMeter, Cloud Service, SCM))

Scope:We are building a highly resilient and scalable world-class Transportation Management System (TMS) SaaS product, utilizing modern technologies.This requires a strong Performance engineering team within our Product Development (PD) organization.As a Performance Architect/Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding the team and ensuring optimal application performance and identifying potential bottlenecks.Technical Environment:Performance Testing Tools: Familiarity with additional performance testing tools like Gatling, Grafana/Prometheus, or ELK.Scripting Languages: Exposure to scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis (a plus).Supply Chain Expertise: Prior experience within the Supply Chain domain (highly desirable). Prior experience with Order Management systems (OMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a significant advantage.Azure User Events: Familiarity with Azure User Events for tracking user Behavior (a plus).What you’ll do:Lead the development of comprehensive performance test strategies and plans for all applications.Design test scenarios and guide junior engineers in creating efficient performance scripts.Execute full lifecycle performance tests, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.Collaborate with developers and DevOps to fix performance regressions and optimize application code.Participate in proof-of-concept activities to evaluate new features, tools, and technologies.Prepare and present detailed performance test reports, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.Develop innovative test automation scripts and utilities to improve testing efficiency.Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.What we are looking for: Looking for Performance Testing professionals with 8 to 11 years of experience.JMeter expert with a deep understanding of performance testing principles and methodologies.Skilled in analysing thread dumps, GC logs, and heap dumps to diagnose performance issues.Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred).Proficient in scripting languages like Python and shell scripting.Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.Understanding of REST APIs and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server databases.Prior experience working on enterprise supply chain applications (TMS, WMS, OMS) or e-commerce applications is a plus.Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
