As a business partner to our R&D and G&A organizations, you will closely work with senior leadership. You will be empowered to challenge the status quo, dream big and have a massive Impact. What You'll Do:Act as the primary business partner to the R&D and G&A organization and its leadership teamYou will provide financial leadership across headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Advise business leaders on opportunities and risks impacting business performance and monitor performance relative to our strategic operating plans. Establish robust frameworks to streamline decision-making and ensure financial objectives such as margins and cost efficiencies are realizedDevelop a ROI framework for our product roadmap investments that allows us to evaluate short-and long term topline returns and tradeoffs for reallocation of resourcesPartner closely with our HR business partners and other operations teams on managing hiring plans and resource allocation within budgetary constraints Own and manage the processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals, variance analysis and insights as well as management reportingDrive further automation and standardization of expense reporting for budget versus actuals and forecast over forecast reviews for our business partnersPromote thought leadership in process improvement to scale forecasting and reporting tools, procedures, and methodologiesManage and develop 2 direct reports What You'll Bring:Minimum of 14+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, auditing, management consulting or public accounting at a top firmThe ideal candidate has prior experience as a business partner supporting R&D and Product teams, in particular when it comes to evaluating product investments and long-term returns 4-year degree in relevant field with strong academic performance, MBA preferredCandidates are required to be highly analytical and strong, effective communicatorsMust display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level business managers. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in Canada is between $165,000 CAD - $247,000 CAD. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
