We work very closely with product, technology, and regional business teams to ensure the strategy is translated into action across the end-to-end customer experience.What you will accomplish:This position will be based in Toronto, Canada and have the outstanding opportunity to influence decision making of the Buyer Experience (specifically focusing on the View Item page) product team’s roadmap with their insights and thought leadership.Looking for deep technical skills to turn big data into concrete insights, but also big picture thinking to connect the dots and evaluate how the insights impact eBay’s ecosystem.What you will bring:Strong technical skills with hands-on ability in using SQL, R, Python, Tableau, etc.Strong analytical foresight with thought leadership and critical thinking.Excellent articulation and communication skills - ability to explain complex analyses and insights into simple terms.Strong quantitative background with at least 2 years experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Physics, Engineering. Master’s degrees preferred.Good experience with both descriptive and inferential statistics – ability to build basic prototype models.Experience with site experimentation (A/B testing).E-commerce experience and customer segmentation knowledge a plus.Benefits:Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
