About the Team The Experience Partner role is a unique opportunity that combines the elements of customer service, consultative sales, and operations. Based out of Phoenix, you will serve as the main point of contact for customers across the country who are looking to sell their home and move onto the next phase of their lives. These transactions can be stressful for people as they might be selling the house they raised their family in or trying to buy their dream home! As their Experience Partner, you have the opportunity to guide them through that journey.  To create peace of mind, you will build a personal relationship that enables you to anticipate your customers’ needs and tailor their experience. Role Responsibilities: Connect personally with your customers in order to discover and provide their ideal customer experience through phone calls, video calls, emails and text messages.  ​​Guide customers through the entire Opendoor home selling process as the customer’s main point of contact.  ​​Personally manage customer needs and protect timelines for transactions in an organized, professional, and friendly manner. Be there to support your customers. Experience Partners work across multiple shifts, including weekends, to ensure our customers are taken care of. ​​Work closely with world-class teams to rapidly build better processes, tools and a customer experience. Adapt to changes and provide feedback as we iterate to build new products that empower everyone with the freedom to move. Manage a pipeline of customers and drive towards conversion to multiple Opendoor products, proactively reaching out and following up with them throughout the life of their Opendoor offer. Skills Needed: At least 3 years of experience in phone based sales or customer service.  Skilled communicator: You love talking to customers on the phone. You are curious and empathetic. You want to understand your customers and what brought them to Opendoor. You have a high level of EQ to help connect them to the best Opendoor product. Results oriented and competitive:  You are disciplined and looking to convert customers to any number of Opendoor products through strong follow up, sales, and conversational skills. You are motivated by being a top performer and measuring well against our success metrics. You are driven by picking up the phone and enjoy the challenge of explaining a complex concept multiple times a day. All about the team:  You thrive on empowering others and taking the time to nurture growth in your teammates. Before anyone asks, you’re always there to lend extra capacity when the team gets overextended. You take pride and ownership over being able to consistently provide for both your teammates and your customers. Coachable and adaptive:  You crave feedback and receive it with enthusiasm seeking out opportunities to become a better operator. You work well in ambiguity, feel comfortable context-shifting, and adapt quickly to changing processes and tools. Location: Hybrid roles require role responsibilities to be performed in the office for a portion of the week, with an option to work remotely. Candidates must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of the specified office location: Phoenix, Arizona Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $27.31 - $40.96 hourly. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
