You will be part of an exciting silicon design group that is responsible for designing pioneering ASICs. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join StdCells Library team with focus on ML and Automation methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ML, automation processes and frameworks relevant to circuits designs, and in-depth knowledge of stdcell library in advanced process nodes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation in circuit and layout optimization using ML automation techniques, helping to delivering top-tier libraries in terms of Power, Performance, and Area (PPA). Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Strong background in Machine Learning with experience in building automation frameworks. Proficiency in advanced stdcell library concepts, including LDE impacts, Vmin analysis, and LVCC. Familiarity with SOC/GPU/CPU physical design data-bases and timing, power analyses. Ability to drive innovation and implement best practices in ML-based methodology and automation. Proficiency in Python and popular data processing tools/algorithm such as Pandas, Matplotlib Experience in circuit and layout optimizations using ML automation techniques preferred Description Description In this role you will: - Develop and enhance design Methodology and Automation in Apple's Digital Circuits team - Utilize ML techniques to build automation frameworks for custom circuit design, optimizations, and analyses e.g. Vmin analysis, and LVCC. - Drive circuits and layout optimizations using ML approaches to improve PPA metrics. - Analyze physical design data from SOC/GPU/CPU designs to extract and provide insightful feedbacks to designers. - Collaborate closely with designers to design and develop next-generation PPA libraries. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in ML, automation, and technologies to continuously improve methodologies and processes. - Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. - Developing Automation Tools to Facilitate Seamless Cell Swapping at Post-Alto and Enhanced Adaptability of library cells in Apple flows. - Develop Si to design correlation flows, LVCC Trend Analysis capabilities, Vmin limiter cell analysis post Si with BKM. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $282,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
