Job Requisition ID #24WD76573Position OverviewThe role is in the Design Engineering within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division, we are seeking a Software Quality Manager to manage the team to deliver high quality of our flagship 3D design product. You will work with a global engineering team to help establish product validation strategy, drive automation, advocate for customers, and represent Quality Assurance during the development cycle.This is a hybrid position in Pune, and you will report to Director, Software QA Engineer.ResponsibilitiesManage the team of QA Engineers responsible for testing FUSION a CAD/CAM/CAE projectWork with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new requests, and help make decisionsCultivate a high-performance culture by mentoring team members and providing them with the necessary tools and motivation to get things doneCreate plans, track and ensure tactical execution and adherence to budgets, schedules, plans, and performanceManage the team's technical strategy, roadmap and success metricsLead team to support customers and solve customer incidents and issuesHelp team to understand the importance of customer-centricity and build customer empathyDrive team to build Customer Trust in the service solutions delivered, including best in class resiliency, performance, scalability, and reliability Advocate and build engineering excellence and service excellence in our developmentProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team membersFoster regularly communicates and collaborate across offices and time zones and across multiple teams including engineers, Product Owners, Product Managers, Software Architects / Tech Leads, and key stakeholders within other organizationsEstablish team goals that connect to the wider organization goals, and monitor progress against themEducate team members on how their work aligns with organizational goalsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's or equivalent degree in Mechanical, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalentKnowledge of 3D modelling in CADMinimum of 8 years of experience in QA Manual & Automation or Software Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role leading tech leads and QA engineersStrong proficiency (5+ years) in manual, automation testing tools, technologies, frameworks and methodologies, with experience in C++/C#, Java, or/and PythonTrack record in team management, including inspiring, motivating, and coaching team members with creativity, innovation, and efficiencyUnderstanding of software development lifecycle, principles, practices, and methodologiesExperience working on a scrum team developing cloud services; understand services architecture, development, and testing; understand Agile and Scaled AgileStrong conflict resolution skillsAn excellent communicator, both in written and verbal form, with the ability to present to large audiences and lead group activitiesManage time and priorities simultaneouslyWillingness to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones which may require limited work outside normal working hours#LI-CL1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
