Job Requisition ID #24WD74979Position OverviewAs a data engineer intern you will join Autodesk Connected Delivery team responsible for building, maintaining, and extending the end-to-end platform that Autodesk customers use to get access to their subscriptions.  You will be responsible for modernizing and maintaining the data pipelines to collect, standardize and visualise data that will help generate insights using BI reporting. We are looking for people who are excited to apply machine learning to further enrich the data in solving customer pain points.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and support the data pipeline architectureLiaise with clients, product owners to gather the analytics requirementsDesign, build, and optimize new and existing data models and ETL pipelineResponsible for designing and building mechanisms to move, integrate, cleanse and publish large volume datasets and evaluate datasets for accuracy and qualityResponsible in creating optimized data sets in data lake for reporting needsBuild Dashboards and deliver insights of Analytics to stakeholders across engineering and product teams to support business decision makingVisualizing and making sense of data analysisMinimum Qualifications Be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or Computing Engineering or relevant fieldsEither be in your final year of studies, and will be graduating in 2024 or 2025Have a passion for programming, ML, and data engineeringInternship Period: July 2024 to Dec 2024 (Full-Time)Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of programming languages like Python, JavaHave excellent problem-solving abilitiesExperience with CI/CD (Jenkins or similar)Experience with Git or an equivalentFamiliarity with Big Data, Hadoop, ETL, BI reporting, AWS would be a bonusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsLearning Benefits Students will get experience of agile (scrum) SDLC through day-to-day workGain exposure to the data engineering projects solving real world complex problemsAcquire hands-on experience in software development, and continuous integrationWork in a collaborative environment with distributed teams globallyHone problem solving and communication skillsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
