At SailPoint, we are transforming the way we train and enable our global community of identity security engineers, administrators, leaders, and practitioners. We are seeking an innovative leader to reshape our traditional instructor-led training program into a modern training delivery program fueling technical education across all modes of learning: instructor-led, on-demand, and community. In this role, you will develop, coach, and supervise a team of technical educators, helping them balance and blend their responsibilities across delivering instructor-led courses, developing curriculum and content, and engaging in community advocacy activities. As the team leader, your role will be to build a technical development program to enable your team to stay at the forefront of identity security and the SailPoint product roadmap. You will be establishing cross-functional relationships across Product Management, Engineering, and Professional Services to develop an ongoing cadence of product roadmap updates and best practice sharing to empower our technical educators to produce the most up-to-date and robust educational content for the identity security community. You will also partner closely with the Curriculum Development team to advise on the training curriculum roadmap and contribute technical subject matter expertise for all training modalities. You will work together to establish an efficient workstream across our technical educators and instructional designers, ensuring we meet the deliverables and commitments on our training roadmap. In this role, you will also be responsible for driving efficiency and scale of our instructor-led training program. You will own the global instructor-led training course schedule for customers and partners, leveraging sales data and feedback from our regional field teams to create a demand-driven course schedule. You will also help establish an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) program to scale SailPoint training and grow our business. As part of this effort, you will build a train-the-trainer program to quickly certify ATP trainers and ensure continued high-quality delivery of our instructor-led courses. You will also have an exciting opportunity to develop a community advocacy program where you and your team will produce technical educational content and nurture and develop our growing community of identity security professionals. You will engage through forums, blogs, and live webinars to guide people to training, certification, and learning opportunities to develop their skills and grow their careers with SailPoint. Your team will also serve as internal advocates, bringing back community insights on training gaps and product pain points and establishing a feedback loop with our Curriculum Development, Community Management, and Product Management teams to improve our learning resources, programs, and products. Responsibilities: Transform a traditional instructor-led training program into a modern training delivery program across instructor-led, on-demand, and community modalities: Coach and supervise a team of technical educators to produce and deliver effective and engaging learning experiences Build a technical development program to enable your team to stay at the forefront of identity security and SailPoint products, establishing a cross-functional cadence with Product Management, Engineering, and Professional Services Partner closely with the Curriculum Development team and establish an efficient workstream to produce and scale content delivery Develop a community advocacy program to nurture and develop SailPoint’s community of identity security professionals, engaging through forums, blogs, and live webinars Advocate internally for the SailPoint community, advising on how to improve our learning content, community programs, and products Deliver world-class instructor-led training to our community of customers and partners: Develop a data-driven approach for managing the global, in-person and virtual instructor-led training course schedule for customers and partners Communicate effectively with global stakeholders within the regions, gathering feedback on training demand and sharing information on our training plansManage scheduling of technical educators, ensuring we are meeting customer and partner training demand, while balancing curriculum development and community advocacy activities Scale customer and partner instructor-led training through Authorized Training Partners (ATPs): Build a train-the-trainer program to successfully onboard and certify new ATP trainers Establish measurements and KPIs for assessing successful training delivery, and hold ATPs accountable for the execution and quality of training Provide feedback and coaching to ATPs to improve training quality Requirements 5+ years working at a technology company in Developer Relations, Community Advocacy, or Customer Training 3+ years managing teams and superb team management skills, with ability to provide feedback and lead people through change Expertise and ability to coach team on creating effective, technical educational content for training curriculum, blogs, forums, videos, and webinars Expertise and ability to coach team on public speaking, presentations, video productions, and training delivery skills Data-driven leader with ability to define strategy, set goals and KPIs, and drive execution Exceptional program management and operations skills, with a knack for scaling impact and business Excellent soft skills and teaming with peers to innovate and take programs to the next level Strong track record of working collaboratively across global organizations and effective stakeholder management Preferred: Technical background in Identity Security, Identity and Access Management, or Identity Governance and Administration Previous experience building a train-the-trainer program, a plusPrevious experience working with Partners, a plusPrevious experience managing course scheduling, a plus SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.
