You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that enables Sonos' supply chain to adapt and scale to accommodate business growth. You will lead cross-functional efforts such as negotiating commercial agreements, costs and optimizing the collaboration between the teams and CMs ensuring quality, delivery, costs, lead-times and responsiveness objectives are met. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and other cross-functional teams to create an efficient and robust supply chain.What You’ll DoDevelop and lead global sourcing strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment, establishing global scalabilityCreate advanced analytics and data-driven approaches to improve supply chain performanceLead complex engagements on critical partnerships, partnering with Sonos' senior leadershipNegotiate MVA, NRE and CaPEx to ensure best-in-class cost for our productsDraft and negotiate commercial agreements to meet both technical, operational and commercial requirementsActively look for cost optimization opportunities and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve itInfluence CM's manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in beneficial and sustainable waysSuccessfully close complex negotiations including commercial terms, statements of work, capacity supply and pricingImplement CM performance controls to ensure operational excellenceTarget and deliver aggressive supply capacity assurances and lead-time reduction initiativesUnderstand the technical aspects of production equipment to identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimizationBuild and own overall project budgets and generate capitalization plan based on project timeline focusing on TCO of the categories managedCommunicate overall equipment status to the management team including schedules, risks and mitigation actions and respond quickly to changes to the overall goals, schedule, and architectureDrive change through excellent verbal and written communication with data driven inputsWhat You’ll NeedBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent), advanced degree or MBA is preferred5+ years of experience in Contract Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Material Management, Procurement, and or Commodity ManagementProven track record in supplier management and/or commodity managementStrong negotiatorFamiliarity with enterprise software management systems such as ERP, PLM etc.Ability to travel InternationallyPreferred QualificationsAt least 5+ years experience in high tech or similar industryOutstanding skills and proven track record of delivering results through collaboration with other functions including Engineering, Finance, Legal and other Supply Chain functions to ensure that cross-functional objectives are achievedStrong supplier project management experienceMBA preferredYour profile will be reviewed and you'll hear from us once we have an update.
