Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Business Intelligence Team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on 100% AWS cloud-based Architecture with CICD deployment. The team consists of 10 members and is reporting to the Associate Manager. We have a great skill set in the areas of Java, Aws Lambda, Redshift, AppFlow, Glue, Kinesis, Spring boot, Bigdata, Athena, CloudFormation and ETL framework expertise. and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in similar to what we have currently.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Technology, or Engineering, (strongly preferred), or equivalent work experience. Atleast 2+ years of working experience in technologies stated below. Java8+ and Spring boot, Rest APIStrong experience on Relational databases like Redshift/Postgres/OracleExperience on AWS technologies like Lambda, Glue, CloudFormation, etcExperience in Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment using AWS technologies like Code build, Code PipelineExperience on design and development of ETL technologies.It would be great if you also had . . . Experience in Apache Kafka/Kinesis or any Messaging ServicesExposure to product usage capture frameworks like Snowplow, Google AnalyticsWhat will you be doing in this role?Develop the services needed as per requirement and create a ETL framework using AWS tech stacks.Deliver the required development tasks in a timely manner.Ensure that all tasks undertaken are completed to a quality standard. This includes delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.Contribute to the software architecture of key solutions.Review technical requirements provided by the business for key projects, to take concepts from design to delivery.Provide solid software/component-level designs supporting technical requirements.Help drive projects through the full development life cycle when required, liaising with team leads & external vendors across the business as appropriate.Contribute to project plans if needed.Ensure yourself and others follow departmental workflow processes, work in a transparent manner, check-in code promptly, report development progress in workflow tracking tools.Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager/director on a permanent or temporary basis.
