Job Summary:Company: Cuffe and TaylorDepartment: Cuffe and Taylor OperationsLocation: Preston, Lancashire or Farringdon, London and onsite at festivals/shows in the summerReports to: Senior Event ManagerWorking Hours: Full time working hours plus some evening / weekend working at eventsContract type: Fixed term contract until Sept 2024Role DescriptionThe focus of the role will be to support the operations team with the day-to-day administration and organisation of our summer festivals.Cuffe & Taylor operates Lytham Festival, Live at The Piece Hall , Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Summer Sessions, Cardiff Castle, Lincoln Castle and many other sites. We are committed to working as a team and so support each other to achieve wins as a team.’Who you areCompetencies / Skills / Knowledge / ExperienceExcellent attention to detailAdvanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Highly motivated and dynamic – ability to work deadlines and achieve targets in a time conscious mannerExperience in working in a busy working environmentExperience in the events industry is helpfulFlexibility to work onsite at shows and festivals, sometimes with anti-social working hoursWhat the role includesAssisting with supplier procurement, collating relevant documents, and keeping spreadsheets up to date.Answering customer emails through ZenDesk for all Cuffe & Taylor festivals, concerts and theatre shows.Liaising with the operations, production, artist liaison and ticketing teams to assist with any roles including accreditation, radio management, meal tickets and any other relevant roles.Assisting with the fulfilment of resident informationAssisting with Charity Vouchers and Requests.Assisting with the volunteer management.Work on site at events and festivals as required, including weekends and evenings.Any other reasonable ad hoc duties.Equal OpportunitiesWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
