This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Calix is looking for a Summer intern to join our Talent and Culture (HR) Team. In this role, you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning.This is an exciting opportunity for any student aspiring to gain experience in Human Resources or Learning and Organizational Development to enter a high growth, fast-paced environment and get real hands-on exposure building developmental resources and improving the employee experience. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.Responsibilities and Duties:Research, analyze, and synthesize talent development industry best practices and propose recommendations for process improvements.Participate in the development and build of on-demand e-learning courses.Assist with measuring and monitoring learner progress and engagement.Support the development and management of internal learning resources such as user guides, onboarding resources, etc.Qualifications:Working towards Human Resources / Organizational Development / Organizational Psychology degree with a graduation date of Spring/Summer 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026.Comfortable with technology and learning new applications and platforms.Comfortable with collaboration; willing to engage and collaborate with other team members.Experience in a role or project requiring problem solving and analysis.Strong communication skills with all levels of an organization.Able to work effectively in a remote environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and fast-changing environments.Microsoft Office software suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education (i.e. year in school).There are different ranges applied to specific locations. The average hourly rate in the U.S. for the position is listed below.Regional plus NY:$17.00 – $22.00 USDNational Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:$18.00 - $29.00 USDSan Francisco Bay Area Only:$21.00 - $27.50 USD#LI-Remote
