Genesys is facilitating change in the customer and employee experience market, and we embrace the opportunities to share the company’s story broadly.The Corporate Communications, Sr. Manager position is an opportunity for the right person to apply their expertise spanning integrated communications and B2B technology to help Genesys marketing drive consistent external and internal strategy across its owned and earned channels. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing and executing external and internal corporate communications strategies to advance company and marketing priorities. Success in this role requires an understanding of what’s possible when all marketing and communications levers are operating in unison and the ability to shape consensus and work collaboratively to nurture high-impact communications plans.Responsibilities:As a member of the External Communications team this role will develop and execute on strategies that shape company’s perception in the market, drive relevance and improved company awareness, and manage brand reputation.Responsible for amplifying the company’s marketing strategy and go-to-market enablement resources to key stakeholders across the company, helping to improve internal awareness and engagement.Provide communications support for the Genesys Chief Marketing Officer for external and internal audiences.Create strategy and content development for articles, blogs, corporate communications, speaking engagements, press releases, media, social media, awards, and more.Assist in setting and executing a unified, integrated communications strategy across owned Genesys communications channels in collaboration with other functions such as Portfolio/Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Thought Leadership, Social Media, Internal/Executive Communications, Digital Demand Generation.Partner with Marketing, Executive leadership, Executive/Internal Communications and other departments to plan, develop and implement strategic communications to advance company initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 6-8 years of integrated communications experiences spanning corporate, external, executive and/or internal communications functions.Experience in B2B technology communications.Thorough editorial strategist with background in developing multi-faceted communications plans to reach targeted audiences, resulting in improved awareness and engagement.Excels in collaborating with cross functional marketing and communications teams to drive corporate messaging and editorial strategy.Excellent leadership skills with a team player mentality; leads by example embodying accountability and transparency with peers, colleagues, and leadership.Impeccable attention to detail, understanding of enterprise technology and current consumer trends, and ability to effectively communicate complex topics.Ability to work collaboratively while also working independently and autonomously in a fast paced, deadline-orientated environment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrable strength in delivering clear and impactful messaging spanning diverse formats and audiences.Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
