Our team oversees all aspects of eBay’s transfer pricing functions – including planning, controversy, operational and compliance matters. We welcome people with a passion for tax, a spirit for new thinking, and a commitment to making our tax team better today, and every day.Major Responsibilities:Work on transfer pricing projects from start to finish such as:Prepare transfer pricing documentation for eBay’s businesses.Assist with functional interviews, compilation of tested party data and related tasks as part of the team preparing transfer pricing documentation reports.Use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and other tools to prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance.Support IRS and foreign tax audits on transfer pricing matters by providing IDR responses and developing potential settlement analysis.Collaborate with teams in tax, finance and accounting, financial reporting, and the business to ensure effective Operational TP.Job Requirements:Committed to our Hybrid Work Model with 3 days per week in either our San Jose or Austin office.A minimum of two years of experience with tax or transfer pricing related projects in either an advisory or corporate setting.Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, mathematics, or statistics from an accredited college/university.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.An ability to work effectively in a team environment and make a positive contribution toward the overall success of the team.Experience in one or more of the following areas: Transfer pricing, U.S. and/or non U.S. corporate taxation, Financial statement analysis, Statistical sampling and econometrics, or Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Prior experience working with SAP and Alteryx a major plus.Benefits:Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
