We're responsible for deeply understanding and articulating what is different, better, and remarkable about Workday’s offerings. Our work powers the company’s go-to-market strategies by connecting the dots across our business stakeholders and our products and technology partners.About the RoleWe're looking for a Product Marketer to join our team and help deliver on: Overarching positioning and messaging, revenue segment product marketing, and go-to-market enablement. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hard-working, entrepreneurial marketer to own efforts that span across the overall Workday portfolio and handle connection points between the CHRO and CFO buying centers and Center of Excellence product marketing teams. It's a hands-on role initially focused on being the primary Product Marketing owner for Workday’s strategic total portfolio go-to-market motion of selling Workday Finance and HR together. You'll be building relationships across Workday-wide collaborators to produce compelling and differentiated messaging and related assets and enable stakeholders in order to deliver successful business outcomes, while working on crafting and telling the total Workday value story, which spans our compete offering to help customers adapt and thrive in a changing world.Responsibilities: Serve as Product Marketing owner for Workday’s total portfolio go-to-market motion of selling Workday Finance and HR together.Advance, promote, and support the strategic vision and corporate narrative of Workday’s combined Finance and HR offering across key industries and regions of the world.Lead related messaging and positioning creation across Product Marketing buying center teams (oCHRO, oCFO, oCIO, CX Services), industry teams, and product strategy teams.Oversee development and delivery of market-facing content and supporting assets that amplify our corporate and product strategies, while differentiating Workday in a competitive market.Incorporate multifaceted and detailed product, buyer, competitive, and external market knowledge into effective messages and build compelling and differentiated positioning.Coordinate and partner across Marketing, Product, and Sales stakeholders on the development of an integrated marketing plan.Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop strategic insights, understand buyers, define messaging, and advise go-to-market plans.Manage relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including: Product, Sales, Solution Consultants, Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Field Marketing teams.Distill, digest, and rationalize solicited feedback on content from varying perspectives; supply a point-of-view to move past content disagreements. Develop a deep understanding of critical buyer personas by synthesizing content across buying centers to build artifacts that communicate the business value of the Workday platform.Enables Sales and Solution Consultants by partnering with Global Sales Enablement to define and supply vital content in support of go-to-market initiatives.Be a leading evangelist for Workday’s total portfolio go-to-market motion of selling Workday Finance and HR together by supporting analyst relations and tier 1 events.Communicate influentially, manage expectations appropriately, and lead critical conversations with senior level collaborators.Think strategically by understanding business challenges, see the situation holistically, and resolve critical steps needed to achieve desired outcomes.About YouBasic Qualifications:6+ years of product marketing experience in B2B and SaaSExperience in an enterprise SaaS business, including working with product and technology teamsBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experienceOther Qualifications:History of working with minimal directionAbility to write concisely and effectively communicate internally and externallyExperience conducting market research on personas and productsA bias for action and acting with alacrityAbility to learn quickly within a fast-paced, agile teamCarries a customer-centric attitudeStrong presentation abilitiesAbility to balance contending prioritiesExpertise with collaboration tools (e.g. Zoom, Slack, or equivalent)Expertise with office productivity tools (e.g. Google and Microsoft suites)Commanding knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Google SlidesWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
