Systems/Software Project EngineerDescription -Our team is seeking a Systems/Software Project Engineer with advanced knowledge in PC hardware, Windows OS internals, application software debugging skills, and deep passion for customer satisfaction. Your mission will be to leverage the HP analytics solution as well as your expert knowledge of PC technology and modern PC management methodology to solve complex customer issues at the enterprise level. We are aiming to reinvent remote PC management and troubleshooting to deliver the best end-user computing experience for HP Proactive Management.The role will also work with solution architects, remote engineers, product managers and software engineers to develop cutting edge solutions and enhance the HP TechPulse platform. If you are our Systems/Software Project Engineer in Singapore, you will have a chance to:Leverage the HP solution to remotely debug PC hardware, Windows OS, application issues and help the customers maintain the health of their end point devices.Leverage modern PC management tools to automate and remotely deliver solutions.Develop scripts and workflows to remediate PC performance issues and increase end user productivity.Influence the HP TechPulse analytics product development team to continuously improve the solution.Work with different groups across HP to collaborate and innovate on new technologies.Stay current on, and maintain an in-depth knowledge of operating systems, hardware systems, peripheral products, modern PC management tools and PC industry trends.Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Operating system issue debugging, including both software and hardware issues.Additional technology (Security, VMware, Microsoft) certifications a strong plus.Understanding of cloud computing platforms such Microsoft Azure, AWS is a plus.Technical understanding of hardware chipset technologies and supporting peripherals.Technical understanding of application, firmware, BIOS and drivers.Familiar with the Windows Debugging tool, such as Microsoft WinDBG.Understand PC performance as it pertains to hardware and software applications.Deep technical knowledge to troubleshoot, debug, analyze and root cause PC issues.Good understanding on PC lifecycle process and procedures.Experience in Notebook/Desktop PC Preinstall image development, debugging is a plus.Knowledge of UEM (unified endpoint management) solutions.
