This is a career opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.What you’ll be doing:Create fixed assets in the Company’s SAP fixed assets sub-ledger and verify source data, such as purchase requisitions and purchase orders for completeness and accuracy and resolve discrepancies on a timely basisAssist with fixed assets physical inventory and Run and distribute fixed assets reportsWithin fixed assets area, ensure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresEnsure compliance, with the Company's SOX and internal control processes in the fixed assets areaWork with other teams, including FP&A, AP, Purchasing, Tax, and Facilities to resolve issues in the fixed asset areaPrepare general ledger reconciliations for designated fixed assets accountsPrepare journal entries to record accruals, amortizations, and ensure proper balance sheet classificationsParticipate in the Company’s quarterly, interim, and year-end audits of fixed assets and prepare supporting schedules (PBCs) and respond to auditor inquiriesProvide support to cross-functional teams and special projects as neededGet cross-trained and learn other functions within the general ledger area in order to back-fill when others are out of office or on leaveWhat we need to see:Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)2+ years operational experience in an accounting organizationExperience in Fixed Assets area, (preference for SAP ECC / SAP HANA).Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook) requiredGood analytical, problem solving skills, attention to detailGood communication skill to interact with internal/external teams across regionsA self-starter with ability to work independently with minimum supervision to resolve moderate to complex problemsA self-starter, with the ability to function in a fast-paced environmentWays to stand out from the crowd:Strong desire to gain knowledge and drive for excellenceGood at relationship building skills with co-workers and other teamsReal passion for continuous improvement of systems and processesOpen to taking over additional responsibilities as part of career growth and development.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
