We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant. This role is based out of NVIDIA's Global Finance Resource Center (“GFRC”) in Bangalore as part of the Finance team and reports directly to the GFRC Manager in Bangalore. This position will perform various Revenue Accounting activities & function in a professional and knowledgeable manner.This position will be required to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion, act as a role model for ethical behavior, and be an advocate of the Finance Team and company policy. This individual contributor will support global Finance as well as other key team members to achieve Finance goals and objectives. This role requires excellent people, communication and writing skills; must be able to work collaboratively across various business divisions, regions; must be self-motivated and driven to work with guidance from the Manager.What you’ll be doing:Review sales orders, invoices, and revenue contracts for completeness, accuracy, and proper revenue accounting treatment including multiple element arrangement and software accounting.Perform monthly revenue related validation procedures and analysis including monthly revenue close process (e. g. reconcile revenue, reserves, deferred revenue, etc.)Work closely with the Sales Operation team in resolving issues with revenue contractsPerform partner royalty revenue reconciliation on monthly/quarterly basis,Royalty and License billingsAssist the revenue accounting team in the processing of revenue adjustments and work with internal customers to resolve related revenue inquiries.Perform various system testing procedures and ensure expected results are achievedSupport completion of revenue related disclosures for the financial statements.Participate in ad‐hoc projects as the need arisesWhat we need to see:Graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in revenue accounting. Experience working with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, in particular ASC 606 with a strong understanding of multiple element arrangement and software accountingExperience with SAP, RAR & Zuora preferredExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook) requiredWays to stand out from the crowd:Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks with minimal direct supervisionYou are dedicated, fast to act, and self-motivated with excellent analytical skills.
