Join our incredible team as an IT Network Engineer, managing the IT infrastructure at our worldwide supply chain partner environments. You will collaborate with our operations and supply chain partners, product owners, and other network & security engineers as a joint team to deliver and maintain critically important IT infrastructure at our partner manufacturing sites.What you will be doing:Attend various business meetings to collect technical requirements, propose architecture designs, and review quotations & proposals from our vendors and partners.Travel to factory sites in North & South America (20% ~ 30% travel) for gear setup and maintenance based on the provided network and cabling diagrams.Collaborate with partners & vendors to deploy infrastructure and provide operational support (e.g. floor expansion / power maintenance).Implement effective monitoring to ensure uptime and device healthiness by using appropriate infra monitoring tools. React on alarms, error conditions, and rectify faults.Improve automation by adopting scripting language to minimize support efforts and human error.Perform software firmware upgrades and ensure the firmware is in the latest stable version without security vulnerability.Create and maintain operation & support documentation (e.g. runbook / playbook / asset inventory system).What we need to see:BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related areas, or equivalent experience.5+ yrs of experience with general IT infrastructure on-site / remote support (network, unix/linux/windows system and data security).Great understanding of TCP/IP protocol, DNS, DHCP and data center cabling (1G/10G/25G/40G/100G/200G).Hands on experience with firewall and load balancer deployment, configuration and support.Ability to detect all service-impacting issues, accurate triage, apply urgent workaround, service restoration, and post-incident follow-up.Attentive to detail.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Great communicator with experience in driving vendors and partners to meet project work and deadlines.Proven experience working effectively with people from all levels and departments of the business (technical and non-technical).Familiar with scripting (e.g. Python / BASH) for task automation.Experience with DHCP option82 deployment.Experience with industrial cybersecurity and ISO 27001 best practicesNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
