The Corporate PR team is responsible for elevating and protecting the Workday brand through strategic storytelling, thought leadership, and media relations. The Workday Foundation strives to positively impact our communities and support employees through its charitable contributions. The Foundation's goal is to create meaningful employment, break the cycle of poverty, and transform lives.About the RoleThe Workday Communications Team seeks a seasoned communications professional to lead all aspects of Marketing and Communications for the Workday Foundation with dotted-line reporting to the Workday Foundation Team.  Job Responsibilities:Develop a marketing and communications strategy for the Workday Foundation leveraging both internal and external channels.  This will include storytelling and multi-channel social media campaigns in a variety of formats (video, blogs, social posts).  Independently develop and write original stories on Workday Foundation investments and activities. This would include conducting interviews, securing photos and necessary permissions, obtaining proper approvals, publishing and promoting through various online communication channels.  Ensure voices/stories from all office locations are well represented.Lead content creation for Op-Eds and paid media content that furthers the mission of the Workday FoundationRegularly develop and produce short videos in partnership with the video team featuring Workday Foundation programs, foundation grantees, employee volunteers, and more.Revise and regularly update content for Workday Foundation public-facing web pages.Create semi-annual slide decks with grantee summaries by region for G&D Community Leaders and senior executives.Develop turn-key social media posts for our social team. Work with Foundation grantees on their social media campaigns highlighting Workday Foundation partnerships.Drive increased employee engagement with intranet and Slack channels through cross-posting and promotion of content.  Develop marketing plan, communications, printed program recognition and on-site signage collateral for Workday Foundation events and sponsorships.Develop Workday Foundation content development for the annual Global Impact Report in partnership with the Sustainability Team.Partner with the public relations team and the Workday Foundation Team to identify stories for media pitches; project manage any subsequent needs related to external media, including paid content, in partnership with the PR team.Develop Foundation’s crisis event messaging in partnership with the cross-functional response team. About YouPreferred skills and attributes:Marketing Communications generalist that has experience with all aspects of marketing and communications.Master storyteller with exceptional written communication skills.Project management experience leading projects from conception to final execution.  Ability to produce projects on tight deadlines and within budget.Creative thinker willing to develop new ways of doing things.Proven creativity and comfort with self-generated video content and fluid video editing skills Team player ready to work with multiple teams to meet project deadlines.Able to work independently to develop strategy and content.Workday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
