Everlane is seeking a highly motivated, self driven and analytical individual to join our Planning and Logistics team. The Sr. Transportation Analyst will support Everlane outbound shipping to meet on time delivery, service quality and costs. This includes Everlane outbound E-Commerce shipments from our Distribution Center(s) to our customers, Retail Locations and other third party partners. You will work with our transportation carriers and with other internal cross functional teams including Retail, International, Warehousing, Planning, and Customer Experience to ensure deliveries meet pre-defined SLAs. Through these partnerships, you will play a role in shaping Logistics operations for a growing and profitable brand.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a good communicator and negotiator, highly analytical and quick learner who can manage, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced work environment. You have a strong work ethic, great communication skills and are able to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. A successful candidate will be one who possesses strong communication skills, is numbers driven and with 3-5 years of experience of domestic and international outbound transportation.
This is a full-time position and preferably based in San Francisco, CA. We are open to remote locations for the right candidates.
Your day-to-day:
Support contract and shipping rate compliance for Everlane’s outbound transportation carriers (UPS, DHL, USPS, etc)
Track weekly and monthly shipping volumes,costs, on time delivery and other KPIs.
Build analytics reporting and provide actionable insights to constantly manage costs, service quality and on time delivery.
Schedule small parcel and LTL pickup and deliveries for our retail stores
Collaborate with Retail Operations on initiatives to support field
Manage our transportation claims for lost and damaged shipments
Communicate with internal stakeholders and provide tracking for product movements
Provides suggestions for continuous improvement
Researches, resolves, and communicates customer, inventory and order discrepancies
Approve and audit parcel & freight invoices
Troubleshoot logistics issues regarding e-commerce and retail
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
3-5 years experience in transportation and logistics
Experience in e-commerce, retail, apparel or footwear preferred
Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to prepare advanced reporting
Exceptional analytical skills and experience with different Business Intelligence such as Looker, Snowflake, etc and/or TMS tools. Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
Sense of urgency and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment that requires multi-tasking and prioritization
The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work in different time zones

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The annual compensation range for this role is: $74,000-$90,000. This range is based on the San Francisco geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographic location.
