About the Role: Solutions Consultants are a vital part of the Demandbase professional services organization. They support our Sales and Solution Engineering teams in the design of custom information solutions and guidance on customer data assessments. In this UK-based role, you will work directly with our customers to understand and document their information requirements and design innovative solutions that drive their  business success. Solution Architects are also responsible for effectively transitioning  solutions to the Professional Services team for implementation. You will utilize your technical chops and problem solving to understand and solve complex business problems. working cross-functionally with internal teams including Solution Engineering, Product Management, Product Engineering, Content, Professional Services, and Sales.  What you'll be doing: Lead discovery and technical assessment meetings and provide guidance to the team on creating data solutions.  Design custom information solutions that solve customer-specific business challenges  Accountable for reviewing, interpreting and responding to RFI/RFP requests and Requirements documents.   Accountable for understanding and translating high level business requirements into practical information solutions for the customer. Working with the delivery team to ensure correct scoping and pricing.   Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and optimize customer solutions.  Guide the team on understanding customer requirements and business challenges, analyze customer data, formulate and present solutions to customers Evaluate technical processes within customers’ sales and marketing workflow such as lead routing, lead scoring, and data management / governance Leverage visual analytics (Tableau, Google Slides, BI tools) to communicate the value of Demandbase solutions, articulating the importance of data driven decision making Provide feedback to Product and Services teams on recurring customer needs, trends in the marketplace and insights.   What we're looking for: We are only considering candidates based in the United Kingdom for this particular role   Successful sales-related performance in the B2B software space, ideally CRM, Marketing Automation, SaaS, and Master Data Management in technical sales, implementation, or support engineer roles Customer facing solution development experience  Data management experience, including selling data solutions, solution selling skills, B2B data analysis and related process/workflow analysis and creation. Familiarity of major technologies and brands in a typical B2B sales and marketing enterprise data ecosystem The ability to approach challenges from multiple points of entry in order to find the right solutions A clear understanding regarding the importance of data within B2B companies to drive successful sales and marketing outcomes Demonstrated expertise in business analysis / business process design, and packaged solution implementation An ability to manage a large portfolio of projects and set internal and external expectations, including scope and on-time delivery Skills and Education: CRM (Salesforce.com) and Marketing Automation (Marketo) proficiency Exceptional written and verbal communications skills Programming languages including: Java, Python, SQL a plus Experience: 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, consulting, project management, consultative sales, and/or services management  Experience in developing pre-sales solutioning documentation and Statements of Work Successful sales-related performance in the B2B software space, ideally CRM, Marketing Automation, SaaS, and Master Data Management in technical sales, implementation, or support engineer roles Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Demandbase At Demandbase, we believe in creating a workplace culture that values and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
