You will be directly working with testing team and cell engineering team to optimize all aspects of the lab operations to improve its efficiency, quality and output. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience in testing of consumer batteries and technologies, preferably R&D environment Supervisory or managerial experience with technicians and engineers Proven emphasis on quality, ensuring high accuracy in data Experience developing testing scripts for battery cyclers (pref. Maccor) Experience with testing various battery technologies Ability to interpret battery test results and communicate to team Capable of making test choices based on electrochemistry nuances Ability to schedule and coordinate all required and requested tests Data management and statistical analysis experience is helpful Project management expertise with resource planning, project scheduling Experience in root cause analysis management of excursions Ability to logically prioritize from a multitude of tasks Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work in dynamic, high-paced environment with multiple input sources and within lean resources is desirable Description Description Develop and implement test protocols to measure and characterize cell properties and electro-chemical performance, including degradation mechanisms
Develop improved formation techniques to impact cell behavior
Evaluate resource use, schedules for testing
Optimize and document process flows and material flows for improving data quality and operational efficiency
Create, sustain and improve documentation infrastructure including SOP’s, checklists, BKM’s etc.
Identify KPIs for testing and lab performance, and drive improvements
Collaborate with supporting process, software, and planning teams to sustain and improve lab operations and tool utilization
Communicate to the leadership team on all project initiatives

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $282,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
