You will join a team with a start-up feel and the scale of an industry leader, to help build and deliver our hugely ambitious growth plans. What will you be doing? You will be working with colleagues on 3 continents, who share a passion for building the best software, the best team, and the best customer experience. Design and implement major changes and new featuresIdentify bottlenecks and problems throughout the infrastructure.Actively review code, mentor junior development staff, and provide peer feedback.Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points as well as evangelize best practices.Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required.What do you need to be successful? Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 4+ years of Java development experience Experience in AWS, Azure or any other public cloudGood understanding of Linux Experience in microservice design and implementation including API design and implementation Attention to details. Tendency to double check what you are doing Readiness to learn new technologies Proficient English communication skills, verbal and written ​Additionally, experience in the following is welcomed: Hands-on with Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar technologies Understanding of CI/CD processes Any development experience in PythonCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
