Calix is seeking a Field Marketing Specialist to join our team. The main responsibilities of this role include owning the end-to-end Content creation for the Field Marketing Team and the Calix Executive Briefing process, executive scheduling for major Field Marketing events, owning the events process for Field Marketing, and leading the content and coordination of ConneXions@Local events. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field, 1-2 years of experience in marketing, proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and marketing automation tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities Own content and asset creation and customization for field marketing team including Connexions@Local, Segment Leads and executive briefing presentations using Calix internal tools; ensure content and messaging is up to date based on the latest product releases, etc. Own Partner Marketing Activities including but not limited to sponsorship activities related to Connexions and other events. Own the Calix Executive Briefing process, meeting regularly with Sales leaders from across the world to plan and execute executive briefings; includes setting up and running strategy meetings, setting up and running debrief meetings, owning the Briefing content and coordinating logistics (which may include some travel). Continuously improve the Executive Briefing process, including improvements to the intake, coordination and debrief components and leading the creation of additional resources (such as customer and prospect outreach to promote scheduling an Executive Briefing). Own the 3rd party events executive meeting process which includes : Set up meeting scheduler per event Working with sales and the segment lead to define target meetings and then schedule meetings Collect briefing documents for every meeting Report on meeting schedule status Track meeting actions and follow-up Staff major events with executive presence across the US to ensure smooth operation of executive meetings with customers and prospects. Own events process for Field Marketing, including maintaining the events playbook and identifying and implementing opportunities for continual process improvement. Part of the team that coordinates ConneXions@Local events for Field Marketing, including setting agendas, creating content, coordinating speakers and other related activities. Will require some travel to onsite events. Assist with maintenance and promotion of Broadband and Marketing Academy. Data Clean-up, including on-going Salesforce data cleanup, identifying accounts wrongly classified from a status and segment type as well as identifying segments that need to be added and moving accounts to that new type Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field 1-2 years of experience in marketing, or similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and marketing automation tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States.
