Summary Posted: Mar 5, 2024 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200533565 We are looking for a strong Software QA Engineer to help us test the future of some of the core system applications and experiences on macOS and iOS like Screen Time, Screen Sharing, and Apple Remote Desktop and related frameworks/APIs. You’ll be responsible for manual testing of our new and legacy features as we work to deliver surprise and delight for our customers! Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 2+ years of Experience with structural or functional testing Proven bug detection and regression skills Self-motivated, critical thinking, and demonstrated creativity Fundamental understanding of Apple’s platforms for example iOS and macOS Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task well and change focus quickly Description Description As a QA engineer, you will be working closely with the Engineering team & other QA Engineers to establish the bar for quality & make sure that our products meet that bar - by doing manual testing. Your main job responsibilities would include the following: - Planning, designing, and driving test cases - Performing ad-hoc and structured tests daily - Bug reporting and isolation - Follow up with Engineering on regressions and other important issues Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $102,000.00 and $212,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
