Inventory Planning Data AnalystDescription -We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our inventory planning team and help us leverage data to optimize our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for developing, analyze and interpret large amounts of data from a range of sources, using algorithmic, data mining and statistical tools, to make it accessible to businesses, to support planning and reporting of our inventory management. You will also be responsible for monitoring global inventories, as well as excess and obsolescence. Applies specialist subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.To be successful as a Planning Data Analyst, you should have a bachelor’s degree, and more importantly, experience with data engineering tools, frameworks, and languages, such as SQL, Python, etc. You should also have experience with ERP systems, reporting tools and automation. You should also have strong analytical, financial accounting/business acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Support activities related to E&O (Excess and Obsolescence Management) such as material liability analysis with Factories, reports validation and negotiating for E&O reduction.Responsible to reconcile E&O reports and identify root-causes analysis from Bill of Material analysis and Demand validation.Integrates with supply and demand planning team, as well commodities managers to discuss E&O mitigation and avoidance.Activities includes E&O mitigation through material leverage optimization and sales to brokers.Lead E&O closure, including material write-off tracking.Identifies opportunities for process improvement and leads/develops recommendations and provides insight for management.Defines and reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement actions to address.Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, planning, logistics, finance, or a similar role Experience in data engineering tools, frameworks, and languages, such as SQL and Python Proficient in ERP systems (operational and financial), reporting tools, automationExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Leadership skills and conflict resolution#LI-POSTJob -Supply Chain & OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Taiwan)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
