The Real Real is looking for Driver to join the Facilities Team! This role will be part of the team responsible for driving a company vehicle following a set schedule or route to pick/drop off employees.
The work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday 6am-11am ET.
What You Get To Do Every Day
The shuttle van driver is required to arrive at work punctually and follow a designated schedule or route. They will be responsible for picking up and dropping off employees between Perth Amboy Junction and The RealReal Authentication Center.
To ensure efficient navigation, the driver should familiarize themselves with the route, including using maps if necessary.
Constant communication with the manager is essential. The driver should keep track of passenger pickups and drop-offs as needed.
When passengers have inquiries or requests, the driver must respond in a polite and friendly manner, address any complaints, and assist with luggage as necessary.
In case of escalating issues or problematic situations, the driver should promptly contact the manager.
Drivers are expected to inform the supervisor of routine and unexpected maintenance requirements for the vans.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the vans is also the driver's responsibility.
What You Bring To The Role
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations
Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening and background check
Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
At least 1-2 years of route transportation experience is required
Computer proficiency
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Commitment to adhere and enforce all safety and security procedures
Safely load and unload from the shuttle
CDL preferred
Must be punctual and available to work overtime as needed
The expected hourly rate for this role is $17.00 - $18.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
