Loan Administration at Valon The Loan Administration team at Valon powers our operations and ensures we continue to run smoothly. We onboard loans, handle insurance, process payments, and offer a first-class experience to Valon's homeowners from behind the scenes.  About the Role The Loan Administration Audit Senior Specialist will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and verifying information required for all internal and external audits. This person will respond to audit findings by reviewing manuals, policies, reports, financial statements, and other written materials, as well as interviewing other organization members when required. Responsibilities Collect required documentation and reports for all audits and exams. Organize necessary documents for audits and exams. Write and update servicing SOPs—with general supervision. Review and analyze Valon processes, documentation, and data to identify gaps in the effectiveness of our audit and exam coordination. Regularly review Loan Administration operational processes and adherence to company policy and procedures. Gather and review data in various areas of Loan Administration, with a focus on quality assurance. Review loan-level system data and file documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines. Monitor quality findings and their resolutions with vendor and internal teams. Review customer interactions for adherence to company policy and procedures. Review customer complaints, disputes, and inquiries. Build relationships with internal business partners as well as external agencies. Ideal Background 1+ years of mortgage servicing experience Minimum Qualifications Six months of mortgage servicing experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with mortgage servicing documents, such as property insurance declarations, MERS, and disbursements. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
