Your Role Dialpad is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director, Communications. As a leading cloud communications platform, Dialpad is at the forefront of transforming the way businesses communicate and collaborate. We are looking for a strategic and results-driven individual to lead our Public Relations team, shape our brand narrative, and enhance our presence in the market. This position reports into our VP, Marketing. What You'll Do Strategic Leadership and Team Management Develop and execute a comprehensive public relations strategy aligned with Dialpad's business objectives. Lead the PR, Analyst Relations (AR), and Social Media teams to drive cohesive messaging, brand consistency, and innovative strategies. Media and External Partnerships Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry analysts. Proactively seek opportunities for media coverage, thought leadership, and collaborate with external PR agencies for strategic communication initiatives. Brand Messaging and Consistency Craft compelling narratives that communicate Dialpad's value proposition and differentiation. Ensure consistency in messaging across all external communication channels to amplify brand presence. Social Media and Internal Communications Oversee social media strategies to engage the audience and drive thought leadership. Develop and implement internal communication strategies in collaboration with People Operations and Executive Stakeholders for consistent messaging, aligning with company culture and values. Team Leadership and Reporting Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of PR, AR, and Social Media professionals. Foster a collaborative team culture while establishing KPIs for continuous measurement and reporting on the effectiveness of communication strategies. Skills you’ll bring   10+ years of proven experience in a senior-level PR role, preferably within the technology industry. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior-level PR role, preferably within the technology industry. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining media relationships. Strategic thinker with the ability to align PR initiatives with business goals. Experience in managing social media strategies and campaigns.
