Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and agile Business & Forecasting Analyst to join the Content Strategy team to accurately predict content performance -- both for internal and external purposes. In this role, you will develop forecasting methodologies and drive forecasting processes for all content types. You’ll create financial models to measure and predict ROI for existing and new content from our University Partners, Industry Partners, and individual Subject Matter experts, and set up tools and systems to regularly report on performance and sourcing progress.
This person must have proven experience with forecasting, requirements gathering, financial modeling, data analysis, data reporting & visualization, and storytelling. You’re comfortable leading complex operational processes, act efficiently to innovate and improve, and are a rapid & creative problem solver. You will work closely together with cross-functional teams, across Enterprise, Degrees and Certificates, as well as Partnerships, Services, Business Ops, and your own peers in Content Strategy. You will partner with the segment and portfolio managers on financial planning. Communication, stakeholder management across complex work-streams, and being a real team player are a must-have skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop forecasting methodologies and drive forecasting processes for all product lines, from short form content to degrees, gather requirements from stakeholders to inform the forecast and analysis
Develop and draw insights from content performance tracking systems, performance dashboards, report out on root causes of discrepancies versus plan
Financial modeling to measure and predict ROI for existing and new content
Create multi-year pro formas to estimate ROI and partner with finance during budget planning
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with relevant tools including Advanced Excel/Google sheets, Power BI, Looker/Tableau, Salesforce
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated history in data analysis/visualization, forecasting & financial modeling, requirements gathering, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Possesses analytical, critical and strategic thinking, and extensive problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
Experience with and knowledge of Python (esp with forecasting) & SQL a big plus
Experience with EdTech and/or higher education strategy a plus
Experience working with Salesforce preferred

Compensation:
Coursera offers competitive pay and equitable compensation practices. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The targeted hiring base salary range for this role is between $105,000 and $131,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, and geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
