Search JobsJob DescriptionThe Americas Workplace Senior Manager is responsible for defining and executing strategies related to real estate, building infrastructure, employee amenities, and the customer environment across the Western United States, with responsibilities extending to providing insights and input into international operations as necessary. This role involves leading teams that manage both direct Workplace Services staff and a contracted workforce, including facilities coordinators, supervisors, and receptionists. The manager will ensure the development, training, and performance evaluation of Workplace Services staff, oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, office health, and safety practices, manage facilities projects such as relocations and upgrades, and ensure compliance with external regulations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute operational strategies for real estate, building infrastructure, employee amenities, and customer environments, ensuring alignment with global standards and regional needs.Lead the management of various facilities management suppliers with a focus on performance management of strategic suppliers to deliver top-quartile financial performance and industry-leading service levels.Ensure support and enhancement of business capability through efficient and reliable infrastructure, providing innovative solutions to new requirements.Ensure compliance with external regulations, including fire, EHS, and building regulations, and stewardship of asset health through appropriate investment and protection from loss/disaster.Determine demand/consumption through engagement with business management to ascertain current and future needs, consulting with managers and vendors to make informed decisions and propose innovative business solutions.Manage facilities budgets for the assigned organization(s), ensuring consistent and effective financial performance through your knowledge of industry-leading service levels and models.Key Skills:Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to define and execute strategies related to real estate and workplace services.Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing suppliers and outsourced facilities services.Proficient in procurement processes, with a focus on performance management of strategic suppliers and driving outsourcing programs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse global teams and managing extensive stakeholder relationships.Strong project management abilities, adaptable to both regional and international contexts.Proficient in MS Office, with preference for experience in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Oracle Purchasing, applicable globally.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in Corporate Facilities, Real Estate, or a related field, with experience managing operations across multiple countries preferred.Additional Responsibilities:Support emergency building system situations, providing a template for global response strategies.Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure compliance with company and safety standards, offering guidance for international adaptations.Manage repair and maintenance budgets and provide input on design, construction, and development projects, sharing successful strategies and innovations globally.Where is this role located? Palo Alto or Atlanta with the ability to go into the office 3-4 times per week and travel up to 10%This job requisition is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship by BroadcomFor US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $102,000 - $245,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
