Section Manager - Software SystemsDescription -Key ResponsibilitiesProvides direct and ongoing leadership for an organization of multiple subordinate managers and individual contributors in designing, developing and integration of different assets in the PSPS & partner organizations.Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities. Identify and manage KPIs to drive excellence.Collaborates effectively with engineering, quality, program office, product, and other teams to reduce time to market of high-quality solutions.Build and manage a cross-functional team with skills in cloud, SW, FW and related areas.Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects and programs, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated, and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.Provides overall people-care management for direct and extended reports, including, hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; drives and fosters organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team member and process development.Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Exceptional skills in management of people and business relationships, knowledge in organizational design and planning and team productivity in a cross-functional organization.Advanced Agile project & program management experience.Prior experience in managing one or more areas - HP Printer firmware, Software drivers, Smart App, Cloud and related solutions including tooling and automation.Superior understanding of business management principles, financial expertise and strategic planning methods.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experienced in managing human capital across geographies to drive workforce development and achieve desired results.Advanced communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
