Brand SupportDescription -Job Summary• This role is responsible for developing and managing major and complex events, independently leading integrated event strategies, and overseeing key event processes, including project planning and management. The role also involves selecting, managing, and motivating agencies and contractors, managing functional budgets, implementing engagement strategies, and leading maintenance of marketing systems. Additionally, the role contributes innovative ideas, leads cross-functional teams, and provides mentorship to lower-level employees to support operational and strategic plans.Responsibilities• Develops and drives major and complex seminars, conferences, field events, hospitality, trade shows or on-line events on behalf of the organization.• Independently leads and drives integrated event strategy for each event in which the organization participates.• Sets and leads key event processes, including the nomination and selection process, creation of detailed project plans, and leading follow-ups.• Leads selection, management, and motivation of agencies and/or contractors, drives coordination with assigned agencies or vendors, negotiates contracts, and ensures compliance with agreements.• Manages functional or departmental budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI including tracking expenses, reconciling invoices, and providing regular financial reports to senior management.• Oversees implementation of strategies to enhance engagement and interaction during events and ensures a seamless and positive experience for attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.• Leads maintenance of marketing management systems and conducts analysis on post-event data, including attendee feedback and performance metrics.• Contributes innovative ideas and leads large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in event management, marketing, or a related field.Preferred CertificationsNAKnowledge & Skills• Banquet Event Orders• Billing• Branding• Business To Business• Customer Relationship Management• Data Analysis• Digital Marketing• Event Management• Event Marketing• Event Planning• Invoicing• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Marketing• Marketing Communications• Marketing Strategies• Project Management• Public Relations• Site Inspection• Vendor Management• Workflow ManagementCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts large functions and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects.Complexity• Provides highly innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
