We are seeking an experienced and strategic Employee Listening Strategy Leader to join our team at Equinix. This role is ideal for someone who is a builder, wants to help shape the future, and is willing to be vulnerable in recognizing that our progress will not be linear.Reporting to the VP of HR Strategy, this role will build and lead a small, diverse, and inclusive team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a holistic employee listening strategy that aligns with leading data-driven best practices. You will design and evolve our approach to ensure that active listening channels deliver the necessary insights to measure and reinforce our enterprise Employee Experience and Culture. In addition, this role will partner closely with our HR Strategy, Organization and Talent and Workforce Insights teams to build culture and drive insights at the enterprise and functional levels. You will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry and enjoy a competitive package, extraordinary benefits, and a creative and diverse work environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a comprehensive employee listening strategy for Equinix, incorporating industry-leading data-driven best practicesRedesign our current approach to active enterprise listening, focusing on measuring and reinforcing the Employee Experience and CultureCollaborate with HR Product Managers and HR IT to design listening that can be seamlessly integrated into the flow of work, enriching our understanding of the employee experiencePartner closely with the Workforce Insights leader to combine active and passive listening strategies, driving greater insights and creating a comprehensive view of employee sentiments and behaviorsDemonstrate the impact of employee experience on customer experience, driving business outcomesStay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to inform the most effective data active collection methods for today's employeesReference academic and business literature to ensure questions are rooted in evidence-based, non-biased methodsIdentify and manage survey delivery vendors, ensuring overall survey administration meets objectivesMonitor internal talent trends, such as organizational changes, attrition rates, and employee satisfaction scores to help inform our listening approachConduct research on external talent and business trends, contributing to the HR Strategy team's views and influencing HR's current and long-term strategiesUtilize strong research methods skills in partnership with the workforce insights team to surface insights that inform talent planning actions and interventions at the enterprise levelUtilize storytelling techniques to raise awareness and drive action, helping others connect to the necessary interventions for impactCollaborate with People Solutions, Employee Experience, Client Services, and Workforce Insights teams to develop a continuous listening strategy for HR productsBuild and lead a small, diverse, and inclusive teamQualificationsDemonstrated depth of experience in HR executive, strategy, or consulting engagementsMultiple experiences showing progressive responsibility in leading Employee Listening StrategiesProven track record in designing and implementing practical solutions to address organizational and human capital development needsExperience with complex, multi-dimensional projects and building credibility quickly at all levels of the organization, including senior executivesExperience in leading and operating governance mechanisms in an organization using agile methodologies with a product mindset is strongly preferredExperience in mid-size, matrixed, and multinational organizationsA Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology or a related field is preferred but not requiredExecutive presence with the ability to influence executivesAdept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goalsSkilled at inspiring behavior change, motivating teams, planning initiatives, designating priorities, and making decisive decisions in ambiguous situationsStrong focus on execution and results, setting high standards for performance, establishing goals and plans, and holding individuals accountable for outcomesEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
