However, this opportunity currently does not offer work authorization sponsorship” and HP will not provide any assistance or sign documentation in support of immigration sponsorship including Optional Practical Training (OPT).  We are seeking a recent college graduate with a background in engineering and expertise in optics and electromechanical systems. HP's core values are the foundation of the company's culture and business operations.Responsibilities: Supports portions of the global engineering relationship with a supplier of external hardware, components, materials, or services for the development and manufacturing of a product or service line.Develops understanding of and relationship with outside suppliers and internal product development and manufacturing teams.Tests, troubleshoots, and debugs defective product units, sub-assemblies, and process steps based on established testing plans; validates testing parameters and summarizes test results for product to identify supplier quality issues.Tracks and records customer feedback and results of manufacturing, test, and quality assurance processes for product.Works with suppliers to implement specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringTypically 0-2 years experience.Knowledge and Skills: Hands-on experience with electromechanical subsystems with consumer productsFamiliarity with programming languages/toolsStrong problem-solving skillsAttention to detailTeam playerExperience or understanding of engineering and testing tools and software packages.Good analytical and problem solving skills.Basic understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. HP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:•  Dental insurance•  Disability insurance•  Employee assistance program•  Flexible schedule•  Flexible spending account•  Health insurance•  Life insurancePer the Washington State statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in Washington State, at the time of this posting, is $53,700 - $82,700.  This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
