You are responsible for managing your assigned territory as a business, prioritizing customer engagements, driving growth in your portfolio of customers, managing a pipeline of contract renewals, and serving your team members so they can be successful in their role. This includes:Report to the leadership team the state of your business including forecasting risk, growth, and contract renewals.Partner with sales leadership and other cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and contract renewals for key accounts and prioritize where to invest resourcesProvide leadership in closing complex and competitive opportunities using sales and  technical knowledgeAssist Solutions Engineers and Account Specialist in their career growth plans through enablement and development plan creationFoster a team environmentProvide ongoing interpersonal and technical coaching to your team membersAct as an additional liaison/advocate between your team and the Sales teamChampion, role model, and embed Broadcom’s cultural values as we scaleMentor, coach and assist team on specific value propositions, competitive differentiation, and best practicesMentor and coach your team in their interactions with customersEngage with your team to elevate customer knowledge/initiatives into strategic customer centric conversationsHire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing Sales and Solutions Engineer teamTo qualify for this position, you will have:A minimum of 15 years of overall experience of which a minimum 5 years is in management and salesA bachelor’s degree is required in a technology or business related discipline Strong background in IT fundamentalsExperience negotiating, developing, and executing enterprise software license agreements  Clearly and efficiently articulate technical matters with a variety of internal and external audiencesPossess a track record of successfully managing technical sales and engineering teamsCoaching and mentoring experienceNative ability to deliver all conversations from the customer back to BroadcomAbility to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate solutions to solve those problemsAbility to interact with business executives and users to discuss and document business requirements, and then translate those requirements into a working application.A broad understanding of business and IT management.Experience working cross-functionally to drive improvements and increase communication across different departments within an organizationComfortable with having tough conversations and challenging members of your team to grow as individual contributors and team membersEntrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to leadStrong track record of defining and executing against key performance indicatorsAbility to build trust and rapport with cross-functional partnersAbility to challenge team members and be challenged to achieve team goalsEnthusiasm for increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationshipsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsBroadcom Software – Agile Operations Division Broadcom Software is one of the world’s leading enterprise software companies, modernizing, optimizing, and protecting the world’s most complex technology environments.
