From curated activations to bespoke festival packages, Vibee creates transformative moments in the most sought after destinations.THE ROLEVibee is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Talent Buyer to join the team and take a key leadership role in the planning and execution of Vibee curated experience events and festival integrations. This position partners with Vibee leadership and associated talent teams to create the vision of the event, manage the planning process as well as the team responsible for bringing the event to life. The Talent Buyer will also be part of the Talent department and responsible for booking headliner and support talent for Destination Experiences and other Special Projects as required. Destination Experiences and Festival Integration events may occur in markets internationally, in standard event venues to non-traditional spaces where all infrastructure is temporary. This position in an in person position and not remote.RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish, build and maintain positive relations with agents, managers, and industry representativesBook and secure headline and support acts for all assigned projectsNegotiate all contractual agreements between Vibee and artist agentsManage the budget of each event to ensure financial successDevelop cost effective budgets by working with assigned producers and obtaining best valued vendor bids and negotiationsSupport special projects, as required, in order to combine our large event planning capabilities with new ideas to drive additional unique events and cater to a wider demographicPartner with senior leadership to ensure alignment with Vibee production department SOP and resource allocationOversee Marketing, Ticketing, and Production for each event booked, working with our internal Vibee team as well as contractorsPartner with senior leadership, event partner, and producer lead to finalize budget and then manage all production related department heads with planning and spending per budgetFor assigned projects, responsible to ensure adequate planning and execution of all production operations and staffing including but not limited to: stage production, security, health & safety, box office, FOH, BOH, traffic, parking, cleaning, sanitation, artist compound and artist relations, and transportation  Represent Vibee at industry events as requiredOther projects as neededQUALIFICATIONS7+ years of experience in the music, concert, and/or event industryAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel extensively and work evenings and weekends, as requiredImpeccable organizational skillsProficiency in spreadsheets, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Airtable, and AsanaMust be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitudeMust be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and smallWORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Must be willing and able  to travel extensively both domestically and abroadMust be able to continuously stand or walk.Must be able to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequentlyMust be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionallyMay occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfacesPosition will expose candidate to sensitive company information and so must maintain strict confidentialityMust exercise the utmost discretion in dealing with staff, vendors, and business associates regarding sensitive mattersApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Vibee for a visa.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Vibee strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal law.HIRING PRACTICESThe preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
