Senior Specialist, Accounting

Ready to be a Titan? The Senior Specialist in Accounting in Armenia will deliver an impact in our organization by supporting our Armenia and US Entity operations. Functions include supporting the monthly and quarterly accounting close processes and helping to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting via correct coding application of payables.What you'll do:Perform general accounting functions, including operation of the general ledger system, journal entries, Armenia payroll related calculations and month-end close activities.Support US month-end close activities as needed.Reconcile, analyze, and resolve questions regarding assigned general ledger accounts timely and accurately.Prepare monthly account reconciliations that include multi-currency accounts and complex bank accounts.Perform account flux analysis.Prepare supporting schedules and footnotesParticipate in the external audit process, with specific focus on collecting key financial and accounting data.Assistance with development, maintenance and documentation of all policies and procedures related to assigned areas of responsibility.Collaborate with business partners to effectively deploy new operating processes and controls. Support management in completing special projects and other tasks as assigned.Identify opportunities for process improvements or automation.What you'll need:5+ years of accounting experience; ACCA preferredStrong understanding of local GAAP accountingExcellent communications skills.Ability to identify and analyze problems and provide solutionsAbility to work independently and as a team player in a fast paced environment.Have experience in Workday Financials and AS accountant preferredHighly proficient in MS office applications: Word, Excel, Power PointExcellent attention to detail and follow up skills.Excellent communication skills and displays strong work ethnic and ownership of responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and resultsBe Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list.
