Workday Studios’ Sr. Video Editor in Video Editorial & Animation will work within the Workday Creative Services Team and report directly to the Creative Director of Video.About the RoleAccountable for the overall quality and execution of assigned video editorial and animation projects.Responsibility to continually contribute to the innovation in the post-production and animation processes, as well as develop new ideas and strategies to better support Workday's communications.Collaborate with the Creative Director and Post Producer on pitches, conception and execution plans.  Communicate editorial choices as well as project status with the Creative Director of Video, and Post Producer and support the collaborative efforts of the project's creative team.Work across the organization to support a variety of internal and external initiatives with internal clients while maintaining quality, cohesion of message, and the Workday brand.This person will be responsible for editing digital assets including video, audio, photos, presentation decks and motion graphics elements for Workday Creative Services. Videos are sourced from live-to-tape studio footage, field shoots and events.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with Producers and internal clients to edit high-quality videos for internal and external audiencesOwn the post-production workflow including ingest, transcoding, editing, animating, grading, and compressionsResponsible for Audio editing, mixing and mastering processesHelp develop and adhere to Audio/video guidelines and workflowsOccasional travel for High Profile Events (approx. 2-3 times per year.)Prioritize multiple projects with overlapping deadlinesArchive, organize and manage digital assetsAbout YouBasic Qualifications10+ years Multimedia production experience working in post-production and live broadcast studio environments10+ years Deep knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Color Grading, & Digital Assets ManagementOther QualificationsStrong design aesthetics and sensibilityProven track record of innovation across the lifecycle of editingHigh level of technical background necessary in order to support projects with a focus and balance on creativity while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skillsStrong attention to detail, strives for excellence and avoids cutting cornersThrives in a highly dynamic and fast moving organizationWillingness and desire to adapt and learn new technology, softwares, hardwares and techniques relevant to this roleWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
