Staff Accountant, Revenue Operations

What you'll do Manage Order-to-cash process for all products in the Tripadvisor portfolio Collaborate with cross functional teams including but not limited to Sales, Sales Ops, and FP&A to investigate critical billing implications and evaluate process improvements Generating invoices based off the review of system reporting to be sent directly to customers Assist with the documentation and monitoring of internal controls Assist in providing accounting support to internal and external auditors during quarterly and year-end reviews, including preparation of supporting documentation Other general accounting projects and month-end close work as assigned Manage and maintain the billing email alias and ensuring proper communication to corresponding recipients across Finance and Sales Oversee customer billing information and ensure CRM is accurately reflected Hybrid role located at Tripadvisor HQ in Needham   Skills and experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a demonstrated high level of academic success Organized, self-motivated and detail oriented Strong written and oral communication skills Solid analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to meet designated deadlines and manage multiple projects to completion Flexibility to work well in a high growth environment with a small company feel Proficient in MS Excel Experience with Workday, Oracle, SalesForce is a plus 1+ years experience working in a billing specialist or accounting/finance based role is a plus In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:  Grasps the essence of new information; recognizes own strengths and weaknesses; pursues self-development; seeks feedback Exhibits integrity though fair and ethical behavior toward others and a demonstrated sense of corporate responsibility and commitment Treats colleagues and partners with respect: considers and responds appropriately to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of different people Can be relied upon to ensure that projects within areas of specific responsibility are completed in an appropriate and timely manner and acknowledges mistakes, learns from those events and is able to move forward productively Identifies and analyzes problems; distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information Ability to balance time to market with a solution and make the right trade-offs along the way Strong analytical skills: understands and utilizes metrics relevant to role Clear communication through expression of facts and ideas in a clear, convincing and organized manner Good business judgment when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the business Adaptive to change and grasp new process updates and improvements timely   We strive to create an accessible and inclusive experience for all candidates.
