About the job This position is needed to strengthen our existing team working on various data science, machine learning based SMS message delivery solutions to optimize Twilio’s SMS message routing near real time. You will help us build a globally scalable system to make the optimal delivery route choices for customers SMS messages, covering a multitude of different use cases.     Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and develop insights that can be used to inform decision making Design experiments and analyze results to measure the impact of product changes Develop predictive models using statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms Create visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of projects Partner with product managers, tech leads, and stakeholders to analyze business problems, clarify requirements Work closely with software engineers to integrate data science into products Research new technologies and techniques to improve existing processes Monitor performance of models in production and suggest improvements Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance Qualifications  Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Required: 2+ years of practical Data Science experience, analyzing data and building models Experience in high-level programming languages, like Python or Java, and queries with SQL Proficiency in working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks Ability to write efficient and well-documented code Skilled in data processing, including cleaning, manipulation, and analysis using tools like pandas, NumPy, and other statistical analysis tools Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau Familiarity with Data Science tools offered by cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Experience with working in an agile team environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience Desired: Proficient in Python and ML libraries Experience with time series analysis Experience in machine learning and deep learning systems Location This role will be based in our Tallinn, Estonia office or remotely in Estonia, based on your preference.
