Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 8+ years experience in payments specifically in acquiring and bank payments. Business development and relationship management experience. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a fast pace environment. Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels with internal and external business partners, Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global project team environment. Success in thriving in a fast paced dynamic environment managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. As part of the Global Payments Acceptance team in Treasury, you will help manage the payment partnership with payment networks, global acquirers, and payment providers critical for the continued success of Apple Merchant Business. This position is accountable for global merchant fee spend, strategic alignment and execution success of all assigned payment partners. Description Description - Stay abreast of Payment Industry Intelligence, Innovations and Trends - commercial, regulatory, and innovative trends in the payment industry, be the trusted thought partner for internal business teams. - Manage Strategic Alignment with External Partners/vendors - Use payments experience and payment partner relationships to advocate for scalable, simplified, and agile platform solutions within complex frameworks - Influence and Define Partners/vendors Strategy - Ensure business benefits from our partners’ expertise, capabilities, and innovations. Have clear understanding the partners’ strategy and how they align with Apple - Drive strategic alignment between external payment partners and Apple teams - Work with internal stakeholders to set and deliver partner strategy at region, payment method and payment method levels - Serve as Apple go-to person for the payment partners to ensure holistic engagement at the enterprise level - Strategy & Vision - Identify opportunities that drive direct financial impact and advance payment platform for Apple - Calibrate partner/vendor strategy roadmap behind Apple goals and priorities - Partner with vendors to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of prioritized initiatives - Hold transparent and effective business reviews including QBRs and weekly calls - Conduct partner/vendor benchmarking, RFI, RFP or similar kind - Perform contract negotiations and lead all aspects of contract performance - Engage in executive-level escalations and resolution for partner/vendor issues that have substantial impact - Establish critical metrics to constantly find opportunities to optimize partner/vendor cost & performance Education & Experience Education & Experience Education MBA desired but not required, BS/BA degree.
