If you have a knack for crafting innovative, aesthetically pleasing solutions to complex problems, this role is for you:As a Senior UX Designer, you'll have the opportunity to apply and further develop your design skills, contributing to the evolution of electronics functionality within our Autodesk Fusion product.You'll be reporting to a Senior Experience Designer Manager, part of a global team of dedicated design professionals, all passionate about their craft.Your role will involve close collaboration with a talented team of UX designers, and stakeholders from Product Management, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Content Development, and Quality Assurance. Together, you'll create compelling experiences that assist our customers in solving their most critical "design and make" challenges.You'll play a key role in defining our customer experience strategy, and creating design solutions that not only delight our customers but also meet our business objectives and deadlines. You'll be part of a dynamic, collaborative workplace, surrounded by thoughtful, engaged colleagues.The role includes travel and brainstorming opportunities, and the chance to participate in Autodesk international events, customer events, and more.ResponsibilitiesSupport the definition of the strategic direction of projects and features from a customer experience perspectiveHeavy emphasis on detailed design with approximately 25% strategic researchMaintain active contact with customers and prepare design assets that you will use when you participate in customer research and data analysisAssist with translating this data into the design of new capabilities and/or featuresDistill customer needs into a set of capabilities that will benefit the customer in the most effective wayIntegrate business, marketing, design, technical opportunities, goals, and constraints into product designsDesign and evaluate alternative solutions to choose the best approach -Visualize and prototype an intended solutionMeet and collaborate with customers and internal partners to validate conceptual designsDeliver design documentation for use by multiple internal stakeholdersEnsure that concrete benefits of the customer-centered design are measured, documented, and communicatedParticipate in design review sessions with other user experience designers, and give and receive constructive feedback that will help you develop your design abilitiesMinimum Qualifications3-5+ years of relevant commercial software UX design experienceDemonstrated experience in wireframing, prototyping, high and low-fidelity mock-ups, designing workflow interactionsAbility to visualize and prototype intended solutions using a range of tools and formats at various levels of fidelityExcellent visual and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas, and large amounts of data and viewpoints, to their essenceDemonstrated experience leading end-to-end strategic design projects including an ability to partner with and influence stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experienceWork experience designing printed circuit boardsExposure to physics specifically around impedance, resistance, capacitance, and inductanceExposure to other EDA softwareExposure to CAD softwareHave worked on complex commercial products for engineers#LI-AC1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
