As a Software Development Engineer on this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with team members globally to ensure excellent quality product delivery by applying strong software development and DevOps skills. ResponsibilitiesArchitect and develop new features of backend and front-end of CI systemDesign and develop scalable, reliable, secured, and easy to maintain backend systemsWork closely with architects, product owners, and others to drive towards a common vision and goalLead and mentor team to follow software engineering standards, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and other best practicesIdentify performance bottlenecks, optimize for scalability, efficiency, and cost effectivenessCollaborate with a distributed team and stakeholdersBe a passionate and empathetic advocate of architecture, design, and software engineering principlesMinimum Qualifications  BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree a plus)8+ years working experience in software development, CI, Automation or related jobStrong programming skills in Python or C++Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization frameworkStrong knowledge about AWS or Azure and software engineering infrastructure Strong experience on building automation and CI/CD pipelinesExceptional communication skills and the ability to converse fluently with many audiencesCuriosity to understand problems, think critically, and create solutionsRemote collaboration skills to work effectively on a distributed teamFlexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projectsExperience with growth, learning, and mentoring othersExcellent verbal and written communication skills #LI-POSTLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $130,400 and $211,200. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
