Job Requisition ID #24WD76429Responsibilities:Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Research, design, develop and test new software application features. Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. Determine system performance standards. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Document architectural decisions and code design specifications. Break apart complex initiatives into manageable chunks. Focus on quality, including writing unit/integration tests and refactoring when appropriate, debug, and solve defects in implemented software solutions. Perform on-call duties. Collaborate effectively with UX Designers, Product Managers, SDETs, and other Software Engineers. Work within a small, agile team, following a sprint methodology. Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.  Communicate technical challenges within and cross-teams. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field followed by seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. Telecommuting is permitted.Special Requirements:Position requires at least seven (7) years of experience in each of the following skills:1.           Utilize knowledge of ReactJS, Redux, Node.js and other JavaScript based frameworks to design, develop and enhance features for web applications with high quality2.           Utilize knowledge of CSS preprocessors and other current techniques/libraries to create clean, organized and modular HTML and CSS code3.           Utilize knowledge of the Agile SDLC process to develop software4.           Utilize knowledge of consuming APIs to build customer facing web applications5.           Utilize knowledge of Unit Testing to maintain software’s code quality6.           Utilize knowledge of Git as a version control system to develop software applications7.           Utilize knowledge of JIRA to develop web applicationsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $185,977 - $193,100/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
