Job Requisition ID #24WD75658Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced attorney who enjoys partnering with business colleagues to understand their objectives with the intention of becoming a trusted partner for us. You will have experience distilling legal issues into actionable advice for a fast-paced global marketing and advertising organization. You are comfortable contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement. You have an interest in the world of design and make so you can relate to us, and Autodesk customers' needs and outcomes.You will report to the Director, Senior Corporate Counsel Marketing & Advertising who is based in London, UK. This position is a hybrid role, so you need to be within in a commutable distance to one of our U.S. offices. Some national and international travel is expected.ResponsibilitiesYou will exercise strong legal and business partner skills. You are a great communicator and a collaborative team playerYou will be the legal business partner to the VP of Industry and Portfolio global marketing team with the goal of building a trusted partner relationshipYou will engage at all levels of the Industry and Portfolio marketing team to support and enable their marketing initiatives for Autodesk's products, platform strategy and customersAdvise on branding, IP and marketing issues relating to product and platform strategySupport global campaigns on the launch of new technologies, platform capabilities and go-to-market initiativesReview and negotiate strategic marketing partnerships and other marketing related programsAdvise on the legal considerations of content production and thought leadership strategiesCollaborate with other team members who support the production and operations of Autodesk's flagship and industry partner eventsProvide support to the Communications team with corporate communications, press releases, executive speaker engagements and related activitiesBe adept at working collaboratively with other legal teams and subject matter experts including product, data, privacy, AI, digital experience, IT, commercial and compliance teams; andContribute to department wide initiatives and programsMinimum QualificationsJD from an accredited/recognized university and bar membership in good standing4+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience with a global public high-tech companyExperience supporting brand, intellectual property, advertising, marketing teams and negotiating marketing related contractsExperience with marketing and advertising laws and regulations, intellectual property SaaS, privacy, and marketing related agreementsManage multiple competing projects to meet deadlines, and comfortable with ambiguityCollaborate well in cross-functional, global diverse teams dealing with matrixed issuesClear, concise communication skills; ability to interact effectively with senior leadersExercise sound business judgment with strong analytical and problem-resolution skillsThink strategically and give practical advice weighing legal and business objectivesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,500 and $238,590. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
