Our organizational ecosystem comprises Cloud services. Autodesk Platform Services (APS) is a cloud service platform that powers custom and pre-built applications, integrations, and innovative solutions. It offers APIs and web services to unlock the values of our customers' Design and Make data, and connects custom and end-to-end workflows. It is an opportunity to work on the APIs and services that directly impact the millions of users of Autodesk products.Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be to contribute to the development of Autodesk Platform APIs, which are the building blocks for next-generation design apps. In this hybrid role you will be part of an Agile product team building world-class cloud software applications and services. You will work in a global organization and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from various disciplines like business, engineering, operations, support, etc.Responsibilities Design, development, and testing of features/functions delivered via applications and servicesEnsure applications and services are highly available and reliableHands on software development for products that will perform at scale, be supportable, and be extensible.Engage in technical and architectural discussions and decision making to shape the future of making thingsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towards a cohesive technical strategyAutomate processes where possible and adopt new technologies when needed.Cross-train and mentor teammatesDiagnose complex problems in distributed systems, develop and document technical solutions and sequence work to make fast, iterative deliveries and improvementsReview code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., accuracy, testability, and efficiency)Participate in on-call rotation to support production systemsMinimum Qualifications 8 to 12 years of total industry experience6+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java5+ years of production experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure (AWS preferred)Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience consuming, designing, and implementing REST APIsWorking knowledge of build automation and CI/CD pipelinesExperience building apps on AWS using services such as S3, DynamoDB, IAM, ECS, Cloudwatch and LambdaExperience implementing unit and integration testsPreferred Qualifications Experience with Java frameworks such as SpringExperience working on MySQL and DynamoDBExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationExperience with Agile software development practicesExperience using Docker to build containerized applications#LI-PW1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
