Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:Ubiquity Global Services is a global BPO that provides Customer Service, Banking support and other services to Companies worldwide. Ubiquity is seeking for Senior Accounting Manager who will be responsible for all accounting, finance, treasury, tax and compliance functions for its growing business in the Philippines. This position will be reporting to the VP Finance of the company.Responsibilities of the Position include but are not limited to the following:Preparation of monthly financial statements of Philippine operations; prepare the consolidated financial statements and supporting analysis to management and other users.Responsible for maintaining an up to date general ledger and supporting analysisMaintaining fixed asset and other subsidiary ledgersSupervise reconciliation of bank accounts and reporting on daily cash balances.Supervise the accounts payable function, including the timely posting of vendor invoices to proper accounts and ensuring proper approvals of payments to vendorsManage the company’s financial planningPlan and perform risk management dutiesManage the preparation and filings of all income, VAT, payroll and other tax returns and reporting to all local or government agenciesDetermine finance KPIs and manage staff to meet KPI’sHire and supervise local accounting personnelManage and retain relationships with outside accountants, attorneys and various vendorsAdvise and manage facilities sourcing, construction and managementPrepare and present financial forecasts and gross profit analysisEnsure adherence to law and company’s policiesEnsure compliance with the law and company’s policiesQualifications of the right candidate are as follows:Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, CPA certification is required.Minimum 10 years relevant experience, at least 2 years experience in a Big 4 Accounting firmExcellent knowledge of corporate financial law and compliance requirementsMust be a self- starter who can identify key projects and tasks and execute on those projects and tasks with minimal oversight.Hands-on experience with NetSuite a plusExcellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and leadership skillsProblem solving ability and critical thinking mindsetWhat we do.Recognized as the #1 CX provider for disruptors and innovators across financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce, Ubiquity was founded on the belief that our clients and their customers deserve better.
